Job Title: Operations Associate
Reports to: Operations Director
Division: Retail
Overview:
The Operations Associate is responsible for supporting the Operations Director and/or Store Director to ensure the store is performing with peak efficiency and operational excellence. This includes promptly processing all payments, receiving and shipping merchandise into and out of the store, as well as daily sales reporting and maintaining back-office organization.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Process all POS transactions in accordance with Company policy and procedure and ensuring merchandise is stored securely and appropriately documented.
- Receive incoming merchandise, update the inventory system, verify SKU accuracy, and resolve discrepancies as necessary.
- Distribute merchandise to appropriate areas within the store.
- Ship merchandise from store in accordance with established procedures. This includes corporate and customer shipments, as well as inter-transfers.
- Accurately process POS opening and closing procedures
- Maintain and reconcile all cash payments and deposits
- Track and manage all serialized warranty information
- Responsible for remaining current on all corporate procedures relating to store operation,
- Participate in educating the store team on operational procedures and processes, specifically policy updates.
- Answer all incoming calls to the store and transfer as appropriate or take messages.
- Partner with management to ensure the store remains stocked with selling supplies and other required items.
- Perform other operational duties as assigned to support store efficiency and success.
Requirements:
- Polished and professional appearance with a consistently positive and service-oriented attitude.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexible availability to work varied shifts throughout the week, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in an Operations supervisory role within a fast-paced premium retail or experience-based environment.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on store and company needs.
- Detail oriented
- Must have knowledge of POS and Inventory management systems
- Excellent communication, solution oriented and interpersonal ability.
- Adaptable and collaborative, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to use systemic reporting to drive decision making.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong knowledge of inventory and shrink mitigation shortage and investigation
SALARY RANGE: $20.00-$27.00, commensurate upon experience.
