Title: System Architecture Intern - Summer 2025
Reports to: Senior Director of Technology
Division: Corporate IT 

*Primarly reports to the Long Island City Queens Corporate Office Location

 

OVERVIEW

The System Architecture intern will assist the digital migration team daily administrative tasks and activities while demonstrating excellent administration, communication, and organizational skills.

 Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Meet and collaborate with key stakeholders to document system architecture.
  • Assist in creating system architecture diagrams, specifications, and documentation.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute to system design and development. 
  •  Use design tools and software to develop technical plans and models.  
  • Conduct research on technologies, tools, and best practices in system architecture.
  • Analyze system requirements and constraints to inform design decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Enrolled in a university or college program at junior or senior level, preferred course of study to include computer science, computer software engineering, information technology or related field.
  • Proven experience working in an office environment.
  • Ability to maintain the utmost professionalism and discretion.
  • Must be self-motivated and can work autonomously.
  • Basic understanding of business operations.
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Analytical problem solver.
  • Detail oriented with outstanding administrative and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Must have working knowledge of MS Office; strong -Proficiency in excel and access a plus.
  • Passion for solutions-based problem solving.

 

SALARY RANGE- $16.50 per hour.

Part-time Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in office required.

Anticipated to start mid June for an 8- 10 week program.
