OVERVIEW

The Private Client Manager will focus on the acquisition of new customers and aid in developing existing clients, to maximize spend. This person will establish Bucherer as a specialist and innovator for high-priced products (watches and jewelry) with clients. They will be responsible for the development of new high spenders and expansion of the network for Bucherer. This person will also be carrying out specific events.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Responsible for networking and cultivating, growing and building on new and existing client relationships, driving sales of watches and jewelry through such relationships to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets

·       Responsible to network and build relationships in the community and surrounding areas; leveraging memberships to Social Clubs, Art & Music Institutions, Charities, etc.

·       Be an innovative thinker to create client experiences outside of the traditional sphere; leverage watch brand factory and watch show tours to build experiences around  

·       Responsible for following all security and insurance guidelines in and outside the store.

·       Ensure consistency of all Bucherer standards through leading by example and inspiring, coaching and motivating staff

·       Retaining and expanding the customer base as well as obtaining information and evaluating it with regard to trends in the individual customer segments in the US, NYC Metro market.

·       Ensuring suitable PR activities and optimal support for VICs

·       Cooperative partner with the sales staff and store leadership to drive revenue across product categories

·       Planning and implementation of marketing activities (ROI driven) in close partnership with the local marketing team and Store Management.

·       Communication and monitoring of programs and sales promotion measures in active consultation/ cooperation with the Merchandising team and the Store Director

·       Presence at key selling events within and outside of the store

·       Organization and implementation of events (ROI driven)

·       Participation in internal training and further education; emphasis on haute horology

  •             Create strategic client growth plans and work in partnership with SVP of Client Development to implement best in class client acquisition 

QUALIFICATIONS

·       Minimum 5 years of experience in the luxury selling retail.

·       Must have very strong follow up skills and superior time management skills.

·       Training in retail, hotel/gastronomy or a similar subject, further training in business administration/study desirable

·       Sense of confidence, style, professional appearance, and good etiquette with a flair for upmarket lifestyle

·       Active networker

·       Experience in customer acquisition and selling development

·       Decision-making ability

·       Hospitable and customer-oriented personality with a strong service orientation and the ability to provide individual support tailored to the customer

·       Self-starter with a hands on, can-do mentality, willing to take on great responsibility

·       Demonstrates a great degree of independence and entrepreneurial thinking, with analytical and business understanding

·       High level of empathy and proven intercultural competency in interacting with our local and international client base.

·       Ability to work individually and with a team, success is ensured collectively

·       High affinity for watches and jewelry

·       Willingness to continue training

·       Must be able to work a flexible schedule throughout the week

  • Bi-lingual/multi-lingual language proficiency is a plus to cater to our international customer base

 

SALARY RANGE: $90,000-115,000 plus incentive plan.
