The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce is responsible for the operational stability, support, optimization, and continuous improvement of the company’s retail and omnichannel commerce platforms.
This role combines business process understanding with strong technical and functional expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce and related business applications. The BSA acts as the bridge between Business and IT, ensuring stable retail operations while enabling scalable process and system improvements across stores, eCommerce, and omnichannel environments.
The position is part of the local IT organization, reports to the local VP of IT, and works in close alignment with the global BSA team at headquarters within an extended workbench model.
The successful candidate combines strong analytical and technical capabilities with a pragmatic operational mindset. This person is comfortable working hands-on within business-critical systems, collaborating across global teams, and driving both operational stability and continuous improvement initiatives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support, troubleshoot, and optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce environments, including POS, pricing, printing, store operations, and transaction flows
• Analyze and resolve issues across Commerce, ERP, CRM, eCommerce, and integrated business platforms
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational and retail requirements into system improvements and scalable solutions
• Configure and maintain business rules, workflows, and system settings within D365 Commerce to support operational needs
• Support integration and data consistency between D365 Commerce and surrounding systems
• Participate in testing, release validation, deployments, and operational change activities
• Contribute to process standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Coordinate effectively with vendors, implementation partners, and global IT teams while increasing internal ownership and reducing external dependency
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst, Application Support, or similar role
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce
• Experience with additional Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules such as Finance & Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, or related platforms is strongly preferred
• Strong technical understanding of how D365 Commerce and integrated business applications operate
• Ability to analyze complex business and system issues, identify root causes, and drive practical solutions
• Ability configuring and supporting D365 Commerce functionality, workflows, and operational setups
• Experience working with system integrations, APIs, data flows, and interconnected business applications
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across Business and IT teams
• Experience working in global or distributed support organizations and extended workbench structures is a plus
SALARY RANGE: $110,000 - $130,000
