The Category Manager - Jewelry will support the SVP in driving sales and profitability of our jewelry segment. This role will involve various tasks including replenishment, buying, inventory management, and collaboration with partner brands. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for trends in the jewelry market.

Responsibilities:

Replenishment and Buying:
•    Assist in the planning and execution of inventory replenishment strategies to ensure optimal stock levels.
•    Collaborate with the SVP in purchasing decisions based on sales trends and forecasts.
•    Support SVP with Store Openings, Events, Activations/Collection launches and other needs of the business
•    Manage day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of inventory and allocation 

Inventory Management:
•    Lead the inventory management efforts by location to optimize the growth and productivity of BFJ as well as partner brands. 
•    Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits to minimize discrepancies.
•    Implement effective inventory control measures to reduce stockouts and overstock situations.
•    Coordinate and co-manage product transfers, distribution

Communication with Partner Brands:
•    Act as a liaison between Bucherer and partner brands to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues.
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with partner brand representatives to enhance collaboration.
•    Provide stock lists to partner brands and ensure a smooth replenishment process

Invoice Management:
•    Review and manage invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely processing according to provided budgets
•    Assist in resolving any discrepancies related to invoicing.

Stock and Sales Reports:
•    Prepare and analyze daily/ weekly stock and sales reports to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
•    Provide insights to the SVP for strategic planning.

Stock Allocation:
•    Coordinate stock allocation for various sales channels, including e-commerce and retail.
•    Ensure the right product mix is available in the right locations to maximize sales.

E-commerce Support:
•    Collaborate with the e-commerce team to optimize the online product offering and enhance customer shopping experience.
•    Assist in developing promotional strategies and campaigns to drive online sales.

Qualifications:

•    4+ years of experience in retail, planning, or merchandising
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to turn data into actionable insights
•    Proficient in Excel; familiarity with planning and buying systems is a plus
•    Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    Self-starter with a proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently
•    Curious, eager to learn, and adaptable to change
•    Team player who thrives in a collaborative and cross-functional environment
